For some people it may sound difficult to create a batch file, but believe me, everybody can do this and it only takes about 2 till 3 minutes to create the Windows 8 Start Menu Won't Open Now the MS engineers can replicate this on their machines, and maybe if we are lucky they will FIX it!!!! It's happening since 8.1 update, i thought it was my system fault but now I just did a CLEAN install and the problem is there yet, after awhile the charm bars To force the bug to appear: 1.Grab a desktop Icon (recycle bin, any shortcut) and move this up to the top left hand corner without letting go of the mouse button. And before you ask, she did NOT install/modify/uninstall anything of any kind. I had lost all control of my touch screen too etc. Unfortunately none of the fixes mentioned here have got rid of the problem for me :-( Really frustrating! They share NO drivers at all so I'm ruling them out.
