i fixed my screen saver i deleted all associated files to dvd launcher in msconfig startup i also re installed(From cold start up boot inserted gigabyte disk and reinstalled )(Inf ) It could be more aggressive in decreasing your CPU's speed and performing other tweaks to extend your battery life, and Microsoft may add onto this feature in the future. How much this will help depends on how bright you normally keep your screen and how power-hungry the backlight is.
