You have installed Windows 7/8 or Vista after having Windows XP or Vista on your system than everything should be OK. Could it be that "Secure boot" is still enabled in your BIOS? There are numerous articles on the web to show you how to backup your system. Does Windows 7 Support A Secure Boot In Uefi?
