Reply Colleen S. I had already spent the better part of a day trying to trouble shoot the wifi. So, I started to look at the delayed service start ups. I believe that the drivers for the wireless adapter were not being loaded correctly, thus causing the connectivity problems.

I was able to redownload all my apps and had backed up all my data so that wasn't a problem. Fortunately this model also has a cable connection so I was able to continue, but the primary internet access will be wifi so this had to be fixed. Sorry for my english . . Finally tried the Broadcom Win7 x64 drivers v 5.100.82.15 12/10/2012 available from the same Lenovo support site and connection has been solid ever since.

One by Broadcom, the other from Microsoft. Tbeaune Tried everything else, and the above is the only thing that worked for me.
