Normally, you would want your mouse/keyboard to do this, so there's no need to change that, but other hardware may be causing the screensaver and power options to never activate. Hope that helps... Why does this driver work fine, but 6.X driver does nothing for the problem. It does not notify me whether I have never go to sleep nor if I allow it to go to sleep. I just turned "auto-hide the desktop" off and suddenly my computer can resume from hibernation again, I wasn't expecting that to work, but it did.
