How about in another bootable OS (try a Linux LiveCD of some kind)? Now we need to make a copy of existing Windows entry. Does it work in Safe Mode? We'll use "Windows 7 Safe Mode" for OS Name. I even tried system restore and it keeps going into safe mode again and again.
