his eventual solution was to bring the bar out and place it on his coffee table which was 4 or 5 feet from him instead of oh 15' or so.... Click here for replacement options. The shaking function of the Wiimote is on its own, the pointing function, however, is the function that goes along with the sensor bar...So in other words, your Wiimote's shaking function I guess it must have dislodged the remote's gyro because it started working again like normal.
