today i just found out that the passenger side seat and rear view mirror do not work (they do not give off heat, i can still move the right rear view http://uk-mkivs.net/topic/10764-heated-mirror-switch-is-different/ Get as much of your hand behind it as you can, and hold it from the front with a microfiber cloth (so it doesn't pop loose and break). Prob due to the fact its easy to forget you have left them on!
