What different frame materials have been used? The problem seems to happen if you press and hold the break or scroll lock keys (perhaps then when you press the ctrl key). Worked for me. Ctrl + ScrLk worked for me. http://geekswithblogs.net/claraoscura/archive/2008/10/17/125902.aspx I finally realized that the find dialog box right edge was just barely showing (1 pixel maybe) on the left edge of monitor 1 / 2. Thank you very much! So the solution I found was to do this: Menu: Tools->Options->Envionment->Find and Replace uncheck the top 3 check boxes (checked by default in my settings) re-check the top 3 check boxes. It is the most simply affective way to break the bug. Yeah.

Well it did for me anyway, which was a relief as I can't believe Microsoft would allow a weird key combination as a work around for a bug like this. Hope this can help. What are the Vibhutis of Lord Shiva as told in Mahabharata? A very rare issue, indeed! However… how did you find this solution ? Please run VS2010 in safe mode by type devenv /safemode in VS2010 command prompt to disable all extensions, and close all suspicious applications/processes.
Could not start /setup from normal Windows mode though, not sure why.
