Ie 10 On Desktop Ui Does Not Work

I love how you can save pages as apps. It only opens up in metro style when I use mail. I can't even look them up in the search engine.

I did a little searching and based on that I removed IE10 from Installed Updates, rebooted, reinstalled.  No change.  I checked Default Programs - IE 10 is the default for Internet.
