It usually occurs during Remote desktop sessions, and the problem is on the remote machine. I thought that it went away just about the time that I found this page while attempting to solve the problem. i did have a windows update a week or so ago and the problem has occurred ever since. Correct, I had ASC5 installed and SMART RAM manager in Auto mode, I disabled the Auto Smart RAM and my copy-paste problem was SOLVED.Thanks for this Info. The "Aftermarket" software that made it worse? Checking the "Clean Clipboard" feature in ASC's "Smart RAM' disables the Paste (CTRL V) feature.
